Welcome the New Look!

Here it is!

KnightStyled.com has gotten a new coat of paint! There are a couple more features that I plan on adding in, and they should be coming in short order.

In other news, GAMINGtruth recently recorded 25,000 unique visitors since it's launch last October! Some might not see this as a big deal, but I see it as a start towards good things.

Speaking of GAMINGtruth, another redesign is in the works. I'm still tweaking the look of it and adding a lot of functionality, but it should be ready to go within the next couple of months.

GAMINGtruth is Live!

Alright, I know that the site launched in the beginning of October, but GAMINGtruth is live and things are going pretty well so far for it.

I was given the chance to participate in two Community Day events hosted by EA, and have had close to 4,000 unique visitors since it's launch.

There's also been a redesign. I liked the previous look, but it was very bandwidth intensive for no good reason. I started by changing the color to something more fitting to my style. Not only does the site look a lot better, it feels a lot better as well. Posts are more legible, and it pops, in my opinion, of course!

Other than that, I still have a couple changes I'm working on. First on the palette is to correct the problem i'm having with the forums. Vanilla is an awesome forum system, but i'm looking into Simple Machines, bbPress and PHPBB.

Things are looking up for bbPress, simply because it's made from the ground up for WordPress. Oh, well. I'll just run them on MAMP to see which one works the best for what I need it for. If I can get a phpBB feel with bbPress, i'll go for it.
